At The Divergent Edge, our neurodivergent-led practice offers ADHD coaching, counselling, and therapeutic coaching that’s practical and respectful.
Working With Us
Neurodivergent-Led Practice
Our practice is neurodivergent-led, which informs how we approach ADHD support in adults. Coaching sessions are practical, direct, and focused on what will make a measurable difference, without unnecessary explanation or assumptions about how ADHD “should” present.
Support That Fits Life
Support is designed to work within your busy schedule, demands, and fluctuating capacity. We focus on strategies that can be maintained consistently.
Coaching With Depth
Our unique therapeutic coaching model allows sessions to move between coaching and counselling support as needed. This makes it easier to address both functional challenges and the emotional factors that influence them.
Whole-Picture ADHD Support
ADHD is often accompanied by other factors such as autism or AuDHD, burnout, anxiety, trauma histories, hormonal changes, or identity-related stress. Our work considers these factors together so support remains coherent and relevant.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Does An ADHD Coach Help With?
Our ADHD coaches work with you on practical areas like personal goals, time management, follow-through, and communication barriers that show up in daily life. Support is structured but flexible, and shaped around how your brain works.
Is ADHD Coaching The Same As Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?
No. Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on thoughts, emotions, and behaviour patterns, often in a clinical therapy setting. ADHD coaching is more present-focused and practical. Some clients benefit from both. Therapeutic coaching can draw on elements of counselling while staying focused on day-to-day change.
Do You Only Work With ADHD, Or Also Autism?
We work with adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, autism, and AuDHD. This can include autism coaching alongside ADHD support, particularly where executive functioning, communication, and burnout overlap.
What Does Lived-Experience Coaching Mean?
Lived-experience coaching means being supported by practitioners who understand neurodivergence from the inside (like our team!), not just through training. It often shows up in active listening, practical insight, and support that feels grounded.
How Do You Build A Support Plan?
Your support plan is developed collaboratively. We look at what’s getting in the way, what matters to you right now, and what would make life feel more manageable. Plans are adjusted over time as personal goals shift or new challenges come up.
Is This Service Available In South Australia?
Yes. All sessions are delivered online, making ADHD coaching and counselling accessible across Adelaide and regional South Australia.
