Booking process
Bookings are available via our online booking portal located on our website or via reception. This differs depending on the staff member and services you wish to book.
Once the appointment has been booked you will receive an email confirmation
If it is your first appointment with TDE you will be required to fill out a New Client Form and Telehealth consent form. The links to these forms will be in your appointment confirmation email. Failure to complete these forms before your first appointment may mean the session cannot go ahead
Once booked you will receive the following communication
- A confirmation of booking email
- An SMS two working days prior to the appointment
- A reminder email 24hrs before containing the appointment telehealth link
Payment options
- Our preferred payment option is via a scheduled automated payment for ongoing bookings to save the hassle and worry of managing invoices. This is managed via a secure Stripe encrypted payment gateway. You will be issued a receipt after each session from reception.
- Alternatively, for ad hoc appointments the appointment invoice will be sent out the day before, you then have up to 7 days to settle this account
- The invoice provides a choice of Stripe powered secure payment via debit / credit card**, or EFT bank transfer
- If you require a payment plan for your assessment please enquire with reception **1.75% transaction fee applies
Counselling & Coaching sessions rescheduling
- Clients have the opportunity to cancel or reschedule their appointment providing they give at least one full working days notice prior to the appointment time with no penalty.
When booking an ADHD Assessment or Screening Interview you will be required to pay a non refundable $220 deposit to secure your booking.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel or reschedule your standard counselling or coaching session with more than 1 full working days notice you will incur no fee
If you cancel your ADHD Assessment or Screening you will lose your deposit
Clients cancelling within 1 full working day of their appointment time will incur a 50% cancellation fee**This includes cancelling on a Friday for a following Monday appointment
Clients cancelling on the day or failing to attend their appointment incur the full fee payable (100%) for a missed appointment.
Clients requesting a rescheduled appointment within 24 hrs of their appointment may be accommodated if the clinician has suitable availability within the same week otherwise the cancellation fee will occur.
At the Divergent Edge we value our awesome clients and do our best to accommodate the changes and curve balls life can throw at us.
We understand that at times life can be extremely challenging, and attending regular scheduled appointments might become difficult for you. Should you find you need to repeatedly cancel sessions, or do not attend your scheduled session without notice on multiple occasions, your health professional may terminate sessions with you until such a time that your life circumstances affords you the capacity to commit to regular treatment sessions.
