Work With Us
There are two ways to be part of the work we’re doing at The Divergent Edge. You can join our team as a practitioner and support adults through therapy, coaching or assessment. Or you can partner with us as an allied health professional, NDIS support coordinator or organisation and refer clients into neurodivergent-led care.
Whichever pathway fits, this is where to start.

Practitioners
Who We Are
The Divergent Edge is a proudly neurodivergent-led practice working across three interwoven areas: neurodivergent therapy and coaching, neuro-inclusive leadership and workplace strategy, and neuro-affirming clinical training and supervision.
These roles sit within our therapy and coaching arm, but people who bring cross-pollinating brilliance are welcome across everything we do. We’re values-driven, tech-savvy, and radically human-centred. Our systems, processes and frameworks are built to affirm and support neurodivergent clients and neurodivergent practitioners, because the work should fit you, not the other way around.
Structured enough to feel safe and supported. Flexible and fast enough to keep things creative, relational and meaningful. Quirks welcome. Precision celebrated. Oversharing endorsed.
Who We're Looking For
We’re recruiting on an ongoing basis across the following practitioner types. Identifying as neurodivergent and the ability to integrate lived experience with professional expertise is highly valued across all roles.
Registered or Clinical Psychologists (AHPRA)
Full AHPRA registration, Medicare provider status, and experience working therapeutically with neurodivergent adults. NDIS accreditation valued. Minimum 15 telehealth sessions per week.
Accredited Mental Health Social Workers (AASW)
Accredited under the AASW Mental Health Social Work framework, Medicare provider status, and experience working with neurodivergent adults in mental health contexts. NDIS accreditation valued. Minimum 15 telehealth sessions per week.
ICF-Accredited Coaches (PCC or above)
Accredited under PACFA or ACA Level 3 or above, with therapeutic experience working with neurodivergent adults. Minimum 15 telehealth sessions per week.

Modalities We Draw From
Breadth and adaptability matter more than a single specialty. Our clinicians and coaches draw from:
Therapeutic modalities

Frequently Asked Questions
For Practitioners
Do I need to be neurodivergent to work at TDE?
No, but it’s highly valued, even without a formal diagnosis. Lived experience alongside clinical or coaching training is a strong fit for our team, our clients and the culture we’re building.
What locations do you hire from?
We’re a fully telehealth-based practice, so you can work from anywhere in Australia. Location doesn’t limit your caseload.
Is this employment or contracting?
All practitioner roles are independent contractor arrangements. You retain autonomy over how you work, while we provide the client stream, admin, systems and infrastructure.
How many sessions per week?
For Referrers
Can clients use a Mental Health Care Plan?
Yes. Clients with a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP can access Medicare-rebated sessions with our Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, and with our psychologists for eligible services.
Do you work with NDIS-funded clients?
Yes, where funding categories align. Our reception team can confirm fit before booking.
What's your typical wait time?
It varies by practitioner and funding stream. Reception can give you an accurate wait time at the point of referral.
Can I refer clients from anywhere in Australia?
Yes. All our services are delivered via telehealth, so your patients can access care regardless of location.
Will I receive updates on my client's progress?
With client consent, we can share updates back to referring practitioners to support integrated care. Let us know what would be most useful.
